Some Examples of Our Favorite Shops

Today we'll be taking a look at some of our favorite shops on framer.art. Eric and Ben were some of the first artists to join and they've done a great job laying out their shops and utilizing the tools that the platform offers. We'll also be looking at founders Jon and Alex's shops to show a few helpful examples of how to utilize our tools.

• Bio: Photojournalist-turned-art-photographer from New Mexico (via Colorado and Texas). Dispatches from the border between nature and the built environment. Specializing in urban life, landscapes, graffiti and other found text.

• Eric uses a unique, custom logo that represents his brand and has implemented a color scheme that echoes the feel of his work.

• Product Page: When you publish an image, a product page is automatically created. Customers can see your image in mockups so they can get a good idea of how your artwork will look in their home. They can customize their order by choosing a frame, matte, and the size of the print or frame. Information about the print is presented below the image and include details such as product quality, sizing, and information about returns.

• Bio: Largely influenced by his Midwest upbringing, Ben’s pursuit of photography first began with a fascination for the abandoned. His unmistakable aesthetic and color palette have breathed new life into faded old spaces, and since then he has focused on broadening his work to capture architecture, roadside attractions, and, his true passion, all things retro and Americana. A multifaceted artist, he has spent over 20 years working for numerous design agencies, a quality which can be seen in his work.

• Hero Image: Ben's hero image and tagline strongly ties together his style and theme color throughout his shop. The pink theme pulls that retro feel from his body of work.

• Collections: Ben does a nice job organizing his collections by theme or location. Each thumbnail clearly represents the images contained within each one.

• Bio: Retro and Americana photographer Jon Bilous has traveled across the United States and various parts of the world, capturing iconic facades, coastal landscapes, vibrant neon signage, and more. Jon is a founder of framer.art.

• Blog Post: You can use the Blog & Newsletter feature as a way to stay connected with your customers and let them know what you've been up to or what you'll be working on next. When you publish a blog post, your email subscribers will automatically receive a copy of the post to their inboxes. You can draft multiple posts and preview them before you hit publish.

• Bio: Alex's professional background is in TV, film, and documentary, primarily in post production management. He loves producing music with his band and works on mixed media projects in New York City. As a street photographer, he enjoys documenting city life and has a passion for capturing protests and demonstrations. Alex is a founder of framer.art.

• Cart: On your shop, customers can add images to their cart before checkout. They can add more of each item or remove them.
