Organizing Your Shop with Collections
Help customers navigate your shop by utilizing folders and collections. Let's take a look at how framer.art can help you organize your uploads as well as your shop.
Folders & Collections
Folders: Folders can contain collections and images. A best practice would be to use folders to hold a larger subset of collections. For example, you can create a folder called New York City that would contain collections of specific locations in the city such as neighborhoods, boroughs, or landmarks.
Collections: Like in the example above, collections can be more specific or themed.
Adding Images to Collections
Adding to Collections: Add your images to collections by first selecting an image and navigating to the Collection section in the image's metadata. If applicable, you can add an image to multiple collections at the same time.
Home Page Collection
Home Page Collection: The Home Page Collection is a default collection which allows you to curate a group of images onto your home page. It's the first thing that visitors to your shop will see, so a good practice would be to put your best work here and show them what you've got!
Hidden Folders & Collections
Hidden Folders and Collections: Organize your work without displaying it on your shop. Simply set the folder or collection as Private, and it will be only visible to you in your image manager.
